This self-guided Camino package invites you to walk nearly 700 kilometers of the Camino Francés, from the vibrant city of Pamplona to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. It is a complete pilgrimage through four regions of Spain—Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y León, and Galicia—capturing the rich diversity of landscapes, culture, and history along Europe’s most famous pilgrimage trail.
The journey begins in Pamplona, famous for its lively old town and the running of the bulls, and quickly leads into rolling vineyards, medieval villages, and sweeping plateaus. You’ll walk through historic towns such as Estella, Nájera, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and Burgos, home to one of Spain’s greatest Gothic cathedrals. From Burgos, the Camino stretches across the open plains of the Meseta before reaching the bustling city of León. The path then climbs into the Montes de León and Galicia’s misty hills, culminating in your arrival at the magnificent cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Accommodations are arranged for every stage: hotels in Pamplona, Burgos, León, and Santiago, with shared dormitory lodging along the way. Travelers who prefer additional comfort may upgrade to private or single rooms. An extra night in Santiago is included at the end, giving you time to attend the Pilgrim’s Mass, explore the UNESCO World Heritage city, and celebrate your accomplishment.
