Overview

Duration: 8 Nights

Distance: 114 KM

Base Price: From €597.00

This self-guided pilgrimage takes you along the final 115 kilometers of the Camino Francés, the most beloved and iconic section of the Camino de Santiago. Starting in the historic town of Sarria and concluding at the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, this journey allows you to experience the heart of the Camino at your own pace, with the camaraderie of fellow pilgrims and the comfort of pre-arranged accommodations.

Designed for travelers who want independence without the stress of logistics, this package provides reserved lodging each night—hotel stays in Sarria and Santiago with dormitory accommodations in between. For those who prefer added privacy, upgrades to private or single rooms are available. You’ll carry your own essentials on the trail unless you choose the optional baggage transport service, which lightens your load each day.

The Camino from Sarria winds through lush Galician countryside, past stone villages, Romanesque churches, and rolling farmland. You’ll cross medieval bridges, taste regional specialties like pulpo a la gallega (octopus in olive oil and paprika), and collect the required stamps in your pilgrim’s credential to earn the Compostela certificate on arrival in Santiago.

Your walk builds gradually, with stages ranging from 14 to 25 kilometers per day, giving you ample time to enjoy the route, connect with other pilgrims, and savor the rhythm of the Camino. At the end, you’ll have an extra night in Santiago, allowing time to attend the Pilgrim’s Mass, explore the old town, and reflect on your accomplishment. For those who wish to continue their journey, optional extensions are available: an extra night in Sarria, an additional night in Santiago, or a two-night trip to Finisterre, the legendary “end of the earth,” either in shared or single accommodations.

This is the Camino in its most authentic form—self-guided, communal, and filled with moments of discovery. Whether you walk to deepen your faith, test your endurance, or simply embrace the adventure, this package offers a seamless way to join the Camino tradition and arrive at Santiago with both feet and heart fulfilled.
